Spiced Iced Tea
16 c Water
1 ts Cardamom seeds
1 ts Whole allspice
3 Cinnamon sticks, (3-inch) halved
8 Regular-sized tea bags
Fresh mint sprigs, (optional)
Combine first 4 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Remove
from heat; add tea bags. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Strain tea
into a pitcher, and chill. Yield: 1 gallon (serving size: 1 cup).
NOTES : Serve over ice; garnish with fresh mint sprigs, if desired.
