Granola - Old Recipe

5 c Oatmeal; not instant
1 c Cashews; (or almonds) sliced
1 c Sesame seeds; unrefined
1 c Shredded coconut meat
1 c Soy flour
1 c Powdered milk; not instant
1 c Wheat germ
1 c Sunflower seeds
1 c Honey
1 c Sesame oil; or vegetable oil


Combine all dry ingredients in a large Dutch oven. In a separate utensil combine honey and oil. Combine two sets of ingredients and spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or until slightly brown. Or, to cook large amount - place in 200 degree oven and cook for 1 hour, stirring about every 25 minutes. Turn oven off and leave cereal in for another hour or two.
