Sugarless Blueberry Grunt
1 qt Blueberries
1/2 c Water
1/2 c Apple juice concentrate
2 c Sifted flour
3 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt (scant)
4 tb Shortening
2/3 c Milk
2 Eggs, beaten
Stew berries, water and apple juice in a saucepan until there is plenty of juice.
DUMPLING Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk and beaten eggs. Drop by tbsp over stewed berries. Cover tightly and cook 12 minutes.
