Jambalaya

1 package smoked sausage, hot and spicy if desired
2 cups water
1/2 cup fresh or frozen green pepper
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1-2 lb. clean raw Shrimp, fresh
1/4 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon or 2 cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Cut sausage links into 1 inch diagonal slices. Place into Dutch oven and brown. Add remaining ingredients except green pepper. Heat to boiling stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in green pepper and heat through. Serve.
