Cahokia Mountain Baked Beans
2 cans pork and beans
1 lb bacon, cut into pieces
2 medium onions, cut in chunks
2 large green peppers, cut in chunks
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup catsup
1 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp cumin
Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven. Stir well. Cover and bake for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Uncover last 3 minutes of cooking. Add small amount of water, if necessary.
