Red Beans In Wine
4 cups red beans -- cooked
1 tablespoon butter
1 onion -- chopped
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup consommé
In Dutch oven or large saucepan, heat butter. Add onion and cook until slightly browned. Add flour and cook until flour is slightly browned. Stir in wine. Add beans and consommé.
Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Correct seasoning. Serve hot.
