Applesauce Gingerbread Cake

1 14 oz. can of applesauce
1 package of gingerbread cake mix


Pour applesauce in bottom of dutch oven or cast iron skillet. Pour dry cake mix over applesauce. Cover and cook until moisture from applesauce has steamed the cake. Let cool approx. 20-30 mins. Serve warm.
