For each pancake gather the following ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk
6 Tbs. butter
9 eggs syrup
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp. salt
Whip egg whites then add egg yolks and whip again. Mix together with milk, then add flour and salt and thoroughly mix to form a thin batter.
Heat a 14" Dutch oven using 14-16 briquettes bottom and 18-20 briquettes top until pretty hot. Add butter to Dutch oven and let melt. Pour batter into oven and cook for 25-30 minutes until pancake is fluffy and light brown.
Serve with syrup
One pancake serves 6 scouts (cut into 6 equal “pizza style” slices).
