2 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 medium-sized onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp margarine
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
1 15-oz can chili beans
2 6-oz pkg cornbread mix
Brown the beef and onion before leaving home (makes it easier to transport) and freeze it.
When you're ready to begin, warm the Dutch Oven, add the margarine, and fry the beef and onion mixture until it's thawed. Add beans, chili powder, salt, and sauce and cook for 15 minutes in the Dutch Oven.
Mix the cornbread according to the directions on the package and add to the top of the mixture. Replace lid and bake for 20-30 min. (use at least 6 briquettes below the oven and 12 on top).
Add 1-2 cans beans; 1 can corn; 1 can Rotel
