1 Tbsp. sweet butter
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups fresh tomatoes, strained
4 cups Fish Stock
4 cups okra, thinly sliced
1/2 lb. raw Shrimp, shelled, cleaned, deveined
1/2 lb. King Crab Meat
16 Oysters, shelled
Freshly ground white pepper
Parsley, chopped for garnish
Melt butter in large Dutch oven. Saute onion until it turns golden. Stir in flour until blended. Add tomatoes, stock and okra. Stir until smooth. Break the Shrimp and Crab Meat into small pieces and add them to the tomato mixture. Simmer until the okra is tender. Add Oysters and check seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve as soon as Oysters are plump, in individual bowls with sprinkling of chopped parsley.
