Macaroni Shrimp Salad

2 c Elbow macaroni or tiny shells
2 1/2 qt Boiling water
1 tb Cooking oil (opt)
2 ts Salt
3/4 c Salad dressing or mayonnaise
1/4 ts Onion salt
Pepper, sprinkle
4 oz Small or broken shrimp, drained
1 c Thinly sliced celery

Cook macaroni in boiling water, cooking oil and salt in uncovered Dutch oven until tender but firm, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cold water. Drain well. Return macaroni to pot.

Add salad dressing, onion salt and pepper. Toss well. Add shrimp and celery. Toss. Transfer to bowl to serve. Makes about 4 1/2 cups
