Swiss Steak

2 lb Beef round steak (1 inch thick)
3 T All-purpose flour
1/2 t Salt
1/4 t Pepper
2 T Cooking oil
2 md Onions, sliced
2 ea Ribs Celery, chopped
1 cn Tomatoes with liquid, cut up (16 oz.)
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1/4 t Dried oregano
Hot cooked noodles (optional)

Cut meat into serving size pieces and dredge in flour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a skillet or Dutch oven, brown meat on both sides in oil. Top with onions and celery. Combine tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and oregano; spoon over vegetables. Cover and simmer 1 1/2-2 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over noodles if desired.
